The word God means the supreme, creator, and ruler of the universe.

God is a Spirit and not a physical human being!

Philipians 2:6

10 Biblical Witnesses That Prove Jesus as God And Son

1. Prophet Isaiah spoke about the Son being called God

Isaiah 7:14

All right then, the Lord himself will give you the sign. Look!

The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son and will call him

Immanuel, which means ‘God is with us.

Isaiah 9:6

For a child is born to us, A son is given to us.

The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called:

Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,

Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

2. Apostle John called him God

John 1:1

In the beginning, the Word already existed.

The Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John 20:27-29

28“My Lord and my God!” Thomas exclaimed.

29Then Jesus told him, “You believe because you have seen me. Blessed are those who believe without seeing me

4. Apostle Paul referred to Jesus Christ as God

Romans 9:5

“Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob are their ancestors, and Christ himself was an Israelite as far as his human nature is concerned. And he is God, the one who rules over everything and is worthy of eternal praise! Amen.

Colosians2:8-9

Matthew 3:16–17

“After his baptism, as Jesus came up out of the water, the heavens were opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and settling on him. 17And a voice from heaven said, “This is my dearly loved Son, who brings me great joy.”

During Jesus’ baptism, a voice said: “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

Matthew 17:5-6

So if those people who received God’s message were called ‘gods,’ 36why do you call it blasphemy when I say, ‘I am the Son of God”

“So the Jewish leaders tried all the harder to find a way to kill him. For he not only broke the Sabbath, but he also called God his Father, thereby making himself equal with God.”

10. Others Recognized Him as the Son of God

Matthew 16:16

Luke 1:35
“The angel replied, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the baby to be born will be holy, and he will be called the Son of God.”

“When the Roman officer who stood facing him saw how he had died, he exclaimed, ‘This man truly was the Son of God!”
