You are Saved by Grace, Not Effort

Saved by Grace

Saved by Grace

Ephesians 2:8–9 NLT

“God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it”.

Salvation is not a reward for good behavior but a blessing of divine grace.

No one can boast before God because redemption is entirely His work.

This truth humbles human pride and exalts Christ alone.

Many believers begin in grace but attempt to mature by effort, forgetting that the same grace that saves also sustains.

Grace does not promote laziness; it produces gratitude and obedience from the heart.

Serve God not to earn acceptance but because You are already accepted in Christ.

Life Application:
Are you living to earn God’s approval or from the assurance that you have it?

Prayer:
Father, thank You for saving me by grace. Help me live from this truth daily. Amen.
